No Drops Policy

We mean it. Nobody gets left behind on a Lenzie Velo ride. Our rides are run on a no-drop basis โ€” we regroup at the top of hills, wait at junctions, and ride home together. If you're new or unsure, just say so โ€” there's always a friendly face to ride with.

Seasonal Special ยท October โ€“ March

The A80 Challenge

Every Thursday evening from October through to the end of March, the regular Thursday 7pm ride becomes the A80 Challenge โ€” a structured, harder-paced effort for riders who want to push themselves through the winter months.

It's the perfect way to maintain fitness and form when the nights are dark and the temptation to stay indoors is strong. Not for the faint-hearted โ€” but deeply satisfying.

Thursday ยท 7:00 pm ยท October to March
Replaces the standard Thursday evening club ride during the winter season.

What to Expect

Pace Guide

We cater for all speeds โ€” here's a rough guide to what you'll encounter on different rides.

๐Ÿ›ค๏ธ

Off Road

Canal and trail rides typically run at 15โ€“28 km/h. Relaxed, scenic, and great for building confidence on the bike.

๐Ÿš—

Road โ€” Steady

Social road rides typically run at 20โ€“24 km/h. Conversational pace, regroup at the top, cafรฉ stop likely.

โšก

Road โ€” Fast

Faster groups can push 25โ€“30+ km/h. Still no-drop, but the pace is serious. A great target to work towards.
